Since its creation in 1926, Route 66 has represented the hopes, dreams and imaginations of generations of Americans. From downtown Chicago to Santa Monica, the old Mother Road provides access to a variety of Americana unequaled in any other region of the nation. Arizona's share of this legendary roadway is perhaps the most diverse of any other section. With the presentation of this website, we hope to provide our visitors with a taste of the history, the flavor and the legacy of Route 66 across the Grand Canyon State.
